Hairpin Lace Edging #8216 Pattern

Two-color edging — suggest Autumn Glow and Yellow.

With Yellow make hairpin lace for desired length. Break off.

Attach Autumn Glow to 1st 3 loops (taking care to keep the twist); * ch 2, dc in next loop (keeping twist as before), ch 2, dc in same loop, ch 2, dc in same loop, ch 2, insert hook in next 3 loops and, working on all 3 loops at the same time, sc in this 3-strand loop (keeping twist throughout). Repeat from * across, ending row with sc in 3-strand loop. Ch 3, turn.

* 3 dc in ch-2 sp between 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in next ch-2 sp between 2 dc. Repeat from * across. Break off.

Attach Autumn Glow at opposite side and, keeping the twist of loops throughout, sc closely in each loop across.
