Belt Pattern #2323

Divide each color into 4 equal parts and use 4 threads throughout.

Diamond (Make 2)... Starting at center with Green, ch 4.

1st rnd: Make 8 sc in ring.

2nd rnd: * 3 sc in next sc (corner), sc in next sc. Repeat from * 3 more times.

3rd rnd: Sc in next sc, * 3 sc in next sc (corner), sc in next 3 sc. Repeat from * around, ending with sc in last 2 sc. Break off.

4th rnd: Attach Red in the center st of any corner, ch 1, 3 sc in same place where thread was attached, * sc in each sc across to center st of next corner, make 3 sc in center sc. Repeat from * around.

5th rnd: Sc in each sc, making 3 sc in each corner sc. Break off.

6th rnd: Attach Black in the center st of any corner, ch 1 and work same as 4th rnd.

7th to 10th rnds incl: Same as 5th rnd. Break off.

With Black, make a chain 13 inches shorter than waist measurement.

1st rnd: 2 sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each ch across, 3 sc in last ch. Then, working along opposite side of starting chain, make sc in each ch across, sc in same place as first 2 sc.

2nd rnd: 3 sc in next sc, sc in each sc to center sc of 3-sc group at other end, make 3 sc in next sc, sc in each remaining sc.

3rd and 4th rnds: * Sc in each sc to center sc of next 3-sc group, 3 sc in center sc. Repeat from * once more, sc in each remaining sc. Sl st in next sc. Break off.

Face each Diamond with felt. Sew a Diamond to each end of Belt. Join points of Diamonds with a hook and eye, or button and buttonloop.
