Starting on side of Back of Hand ch. 50.

Work in pattern and increase 1 st. in last st. (to increase put 2 s.c. in 1 st.).
Incr. 1 st. in first st.
Decr. 1 st. at end of row (to decrease: draw up a loop in each of the next 2 sts. and work off as 1 st.).
Decr. 1 st. at beg. of row.
Work only over 35 sts., leaving the remaining 14 sts. for Little Finger.
Ring Finger
Ch. 17 for Ringfinger:
Work even.
Incr. 1 st. in last st.
Incr. 1 st. in first st.
Decr. 1 st. at end of row.
Decr. 1 st. at beg. of row.
Work only over 35 sts. leaving the remaining 16 sts. and ch. 21 for Middlefinger.
Middle Finger
Work 6 rows like on Ringfinger and ch. 17 for Forefinger.
Forefinger
Work even.
Incr. 1 st. in last st.
Incr. 1 st. in first st. and work to within the last 12 sts., ch. 1, turn.
Decr. 1 st. at end of row.
Decr. 1 st at beg. of row (work the last 12 sts. again).
Work over 24 sts. and ch. 14 for Thumb.

Palm Of Hand
Palm of Hand: With contrasting color work the same way until xx on back of hand.

Incr. 1 st. at end of row.
Incr. 1 st. at beg. of row and work to within 12 sts., break yarn and fasten off.
Turn, do not work over first 12 sts., attach yarn and work over remaining 33 sts. and decr. 1 st. at end of row.
Decr. 1 st. at beg. of row and work to end and ch. 14 for thumb.
Work over 13 s.c. on the thumb ch. 1 s.c. in each of the next 11 sts. (leave the remaining 20 sts.) and ch. 17 for Forefinger.
Forefinger Palm
Incr. 1 st. at end of row.
Incr. 1 st. at beg. and end of row.
Incr. 1 st. at beg. of row and decr. 1 st. at end of row.
Decr. 1 st. at beg. and end of row.
Decr. 1 st. at beg. of row. Fasten off.
Finishing
Steam both pieces lightly and sew gloves tog. on wrong side. Make other glove to correspond.
