A crochet English Lavender costume with bodice, collar, sleeves, flared skirt, hat, and parasol for a 7 or 8-inch doll, worked in DMC Pearl Cotton.

Bodice
Ch 14, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 10 chs (12 dc including ch-3).
Ch 3, turn, 1 dc in 2nd dc, 1 dc in each of next 9 dc, 1 dc in top ch of ch-3.
Ch 14 (for shoulder), turn, 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each of next 10 chs, 1 dc in each of next 11 dc, 1 dc in top ch of ch-3 (24 dc).
Ch 3, turn, 1 dc in 2nd dc, 1 dc in each of next 10 dc (12 dc). Rot row 2 twice. Rpt rows 6 and 7. Rpt row 2 four times; drop loop from hook, sew end of each shoulder strap to top of 2nd row in from back opening (to form armhole).
Collar
Pick up dropped loop, ch 7, 1 sc in 4th ch from hook, 1 tr around post of last dc made on Bodice, ch 3, 1 sc in top of tr just made (Picot made), 1 more tr around post of same dc, a Picot, work [1 tr and a Picot] in each of 12 sts of shoulder strap, work [1 tr, a Picot, 1 tr, a Picot] around post of next 3 dc at neck edge, work other shoulder and back to correspond. Fasten off.
Sleeves
Working around armhole, [1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc, ch 1] around post of end st of 3 rows at underarm, [1 dc, ch 1] in each of 12 sts of shoulder strap, join (with slip st) in first dc (18 dc).
Ch 1, slip st in first sp, ch 3, 1 dc in each remaining sp around, join in top ch of ch-3.
Ch 4, skip joined st and next dc, * 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, skip next dc; rot from STAR around, join in 3rd ch of ch-4.
Ch 1, 1 sc in joined st, ch 3, 1 sc in last sc made (Picot), [1 sc and a Picot] in each dc around, join in first sc, fasten off.
Skirt
Make a loop on hook, working along lower edge of Bodice, 1 sc in top ch of turning ch of last row of Bodice, work 3 dc around post of same turning ch, * 1 sc in top of end st of next row, Shell of 3 dc around post of same end st; rot from STAR around, to join Skirt, slip st in first sc (15 Shells).
Ch 1, 1 sc in joined st, ch 3, 1 sc in front loop of center dc of next Shell, ch 3, * 1 sc in front loop of next sc between Shells, ch 3, 1 sc in front loop of center dc of next Shell, ch 3; rot from STAR around, join in first sc (30 Loops).
Ch 3, skip joined st, 1 sc in next Loop, * 1 dc in front loop of next sc, 1 sc in next Loop; rot from STAR around, join in top ch of ch-3.

Ch 3, skip joined st, 1 dc in back loop of each dc around, join.
Ch 1, slip st in back loop of each dc around (leaving front loops free), join, ch 4, [1 dc and ch 1] in front loop of each dc around, join in 3rd ch of ch-4.
Ch 4, skip joined st, 1 dc in next sp, ch 1, work [1 dc and ch 1] in each dc and in each sp around, join in 3rd ch of ch-4 (54 sps).

Tack a bouquet of small artificial flowers behind bow. Tie a narrow ribbon around Hat crown, tie a bow with streamers at back of Hat.
