Pattern instructions
Chair Back
With Flamingo and 2-inch staple make 6 strips of Basic Hairpin Lace, see patternbook page, each 18 inches long.
Keeping the twist in all loops and working through both thicknesses of 2 strips, attach Flamingo to first loop, sc in same place, * ch 1, sc in next loop. Repeat from * across. Break off. Join remaining strips the same way.
With Nu-Ecru and ½ inch staple, make 12 strips of Basic Hairpin Lace, each 18 inches long. Weave narrow strips through each row of loops on wide strips. Fasten ends securely.
Border
Still keeping the twist in all loops, attach Flamingo to first loop on end strip, 3 sc in same place, * ch 1, sc in next loop. Repeat from * across side, 3 sc in last loop, sc closely across narrow end. Complete other side and end to correspond. Join.
Sc in each sc around, making 3 sc in center sc of each 3-sc group. Join and break off.
Arm Piece
With Flamingo and 2-inch staple make 4 strips of hairpin lace, each 12 inches long. Join as before. With Nu-Ecru and ½ inch staple, make 8 strips of hairpin lace each 12 inches long. Complete as for Chair Back. Block to measurements.
