(95 [B 108] sts., counting turning ch. as one st.) 2nd row—(1 d.c., 1 ch.) in first tr., "Dec.", 1 tr. in each tr. to turning ch., 2 tr. in top of turning ch. 3rd row—(1 d.c., 1 ch., 1 tr.) in first tr., 1 tr. in each tr. to last 2 tr. and turning ch., "Dec.", 1 tr. in top of turning ch. Break off M. Rep. 2nd and 3rd rows, working in stripes of 3 rows C.1, 2 rows C.2, 2 rows C.1, 1 row M., 1 row C.3, 2 rows C.1, 3 rows M., 2 rows C.2, until side edge measures 21 [B 24] ins. LOWER EDGING With right side facing, using 4 M/M (No. 8) Hook and M., work 8 rounds d.c. around lower edge, working 3 d.c. in d.c. at corners in every round.

Fringe

Fringe

FRINGE (if desired) Wind yarn round a piece of cardboard 5 ins. wide and cut along one side. Wrong side facing, using 5 M/M (No. 6) Hook and 4 strands of yarn, fold yarn in half and draw loop through a st. at lower edge, pull ends through loop and tighten. Rep. around lower edge in every 2nd st.
