A.64—4 balls— Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 7 "Speed-Cro-Sheen," Art. C.44—4 balls—Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero)

Starting at bottom with No. M.61—D Nu-Ecru, make a chain 24 inches long. 1st row: Tr in 5th ch from hook, * ch 3, skip 3 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, sc in next ch, ch 3, skip 3 ch, 4 tr in next ch. Repeat from * across until row measures 17 inches, ending with 2 tr. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 1, turn. 2nd row: Sc in first tr, * ch 3, 4 tr in next ch-3 loop, ch 3, skip next tr, sc in next tr, ch 3, sc in next tr. Repeat from * across, ending with sc in top of turning chain. Ch 4, turn. 3rd row: Tr in first sc, * ch 3, skip next tr, sc in next tr, ch 3, sc in next tr, ch 3, 4 tr in next ch-3 loop. Repeat from * across, ending with 2 tr in last sc. Ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd and 3rd rows alternately until piece measures 11 inches, ending with 3rd row.
