Remove wrapper from Natural, do not unfold. Tie skein at one end for top of head, then tie again about 3½ inches below for neck. Tie again 4 inches from last tie. Cut remainder of skein 3/8 inch below last tie.

Take 2 of the remaining yarn. Open lengths and tie 45 strands tog at one end about 2 inch down. Divide in thirds and braid, tie other end. Place arms in position in body section. Fill head and arms with remainder of yarn.

With Yellow ch 5, sl st in 5th st from hook to form picot, repeat from beg 5 times, join.

Ch 1, holding picots to back work 2 sc between each picot, join.

Ch 1, working in back loops sc in 1st sc, * ch 5, sl st in 5th st from hook to form picot, sc in next sc, repeat from * all around, join.

Ch 1, holding picots to back, sc in sc, repeat from beg all around, join, cut yarn at end of 5th round.

With Yellow ch 18, sc in 2nd st from hook, * 1 dc in next ch, sc in next ch, repeat from * across ch, turn.

Work 1 sc in each dc and 1 dc in each sc, turn.

Work across 5 sts, sl st in next st, cut yarn, skip 5 sts, attach yarn in next st, work across remaining 5 sts, cut yarn.

Work a 2nd section to correspond, but do not cut yarn.

Ch 1, working across short side work 4 sc to corner, ch 2 for underarm, work 4 sc across other side, ch 2, work 4 sc on 1st strip taking care to have shaped sections match, ch 2, work 4 sc on opposite end of same section, ch 2, join.

Working in back loops only, ch 1, 2 sc in each sc and in each st of ch, do not join.

Continue in back loops, * 1 sc in next st, 1 dc in next st, repeat from * all around, sc in same space with last dc.

Work in pattern working 1 sc in each dc and 1 dc in each sc.

Same as last round inc 1 pattern in every other dc (to inc: work 1 sc, 1 dc, 1 sc in dc), cut Yellow.

With Peach work in pattern.

Always hold Peach loop on hook, insert hook in next st, pick up Yellow, pull through st, ch 1, pulling loop up to a 1 inch length, * pick up Peach and work 1 sc in Yellow loop, insert hook in next st, pick up Yellow, ch 1 and draw loop up to 1 inch length, repeat from * all around, join.

Repeat last 2 rounds twice, cut yarn.

Place dress on doll. Take 2 strands Peach, lace through front bodice as illustrated and tie in bow. Lace through back bodice to correspond. Sew bodice side seams. Sew hat in place. Cut features from felt and glue or sew in place.
