Cape
Ch 59, 1 dc in 5th st from hook, * ch 1, skip 1 st of ch, dc in next st, repeat from * 26 times, ch 4, turn. Each dc should measure about 1 inch in height.
2nd Row: Working in front loop of sts throughout, * work 2 dc in next ch 1 space, ch 1, repeat from * 26 times, ending with dc in 4th st of end ch, ch 4, turn.
3rd Row: 1 dc in next ch 1 space, * ch 1, skip 2 dc, 2 dc in next ch 1 space, repeat from * across row ending with ch 1, 2 dc in 4th st of end ch, ch 4, turn.

Finishing
FINISHING: With right side of work toward you, attach yarn at neck edge and working across neck edge only, slip st in each st of ch, cut yarn.
Crochet a ch 44 inches in length, cut yarn.
Lace through 1st row, lacing over 1 dc and under the next dc.
Tassel
TASSEL: Wind yarn over a 2½ inch cardboard, tie one end, cut opposite end. Sew to end of ch. Work another tassel in same manner and sew to opposite end of ch.
