Ch 44, turn.

1 dc in 5th ch from hook, * ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 dc in next, repeat from * until there are 10 sps, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 1 sc in each of remaining ch sts, ch 1, turn.

1 sc in each st, ch 1, turn.

From here on always work into back loop only of each st of previous row.

1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn.

1 sc in each sc, ch 6, turn.

1 dc in 1st sc, * ch 1, skip 1 sc, dc in next st, repeat from * until there are 10 sps, ch 1, skip 1 sc, 1 sc in each remaining sc, ch 1, turn.

Repeat from beginning of 2nd row until neck edge measures 15 inches.

Finish the 2 short ends of the collar as follows: Attach thread to one corner, * ch 5, skip 1 st, sc in next, repeat from * across. Fasten thread.

Work same as for collar for 6 inches. Join the 2 ends of each cuff.
