A scalloped crochet edging worked over braided white and yellow rick-rack braid, with a simple heading on the opposite side.

Braid

Braid white and yellow rick-rack together for length desired.

Setup

Attach Robinette to first point on rick-rack.

1st row

Ch 5, holding back on hook the last loop of each tr, make tr in next 4 points, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster made), * ch 5, make a cluster in next 5 points. Repeat from * across. Ch 4, turn.

2nd row

In tip of first cluster make 2 tr, ch 5 and 3 tr; * sc in next sp, in tip of next cluster make 3 tr, ch 5 and 3 tr. Repeat from * across. Break off.

3rd row

Attach Yellow to top of turning chain, sc in same place, sc in next 2 tr, * in ch-5 loop make 2 sc, ch 3 and 2 sc; sc in next 3 tr, skip next sc, sc in next 3 tr. Repeat from * across. Break off.

4th row

Attach White to first sc, sc in next 5 sc, * in ch-3 loop make sc, ch 3, sc, ch 5, sc, ch 3 and sc; sc in next 4 sc, work off next 2 sc as 1 sc, sc in next 4 sc. Repeat from * across. Break off.

Attach Robinette to first point on opposite side of rick-rack, ch 4, * dc in next point, ch 1. Repeat from * across, ending with dc. Break off.
