Pattern instructions

Body

1st row

Starting at one end, make a chain 32 inches long (6 ch sts to 1 inch). 1st row: 2 dc in 4th ch from hook, skip 2 ch, sc in next ch, skip 2 ch, 5 dc in next ch (shell made). Repeat from * across until row measures 25 inches, ending with sc. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 3, turn.

2nd row

2nd row: 2 dc in back loop of first sc, sc in center dc of next shell, 5 dc in back loop of next sc. Repeat from * across, ending with sc in top of turning chain. Ch 3, turn.

Repeat

Repeat the 2nd row until piece measures 30 inches.

Border

BORDER

BORDER. Work 10 rnds of sc all along outer edges, picking up only the back loop of each sc and making 3 sc in each corner. Join. Break off at end of 10th rnd.
