To begin, ch 124. This should fit the neck measurement. If not, add or decrease as desired.

1 dc in 4th ch from hook, 1 dc in each st of foundation ch. Ch 5, turn.

* Skip 2 dc, 1 sc in next dc, ch 5, and repeat from * to end of row. Ch 4, turn.

1 sc in 1st ch-5 loop, * ch 5, 1 sc in next loop, and repeat from * to end of row. Ch 4, turn.

4 dc in 1st ch-5 loop, * 1 dc in next sc, 4 dc in next ch-5 loop, and repeat from * to end of row, making 2 dc in last loop. Ch 5, turn.

* Skip 3 dc, 1 sc in next, ch 5, and repeat from * to end of row. Ch 4, turn.

1 sc in 1st ch-5 loop, * ch 5, 1 sc in next loop, and repeat from * to end of row. Ch 4, turn.

4 dc in 1st ch-5 loop, * 1 dc in next sc, 4 dc in next ch-5 loop, and repeat from * to end of row, ending with 1 dc in last ch-4 loop. Ch 5, turn.

Same as 5th row.

Same as 6th row.

3 dc in 1st ch-5 loop, * 1 dc in next sc, 3 dc in next ch-5 loop, and repeat from * to end of row, ending with 1 dc in last ch-4 loop. Ch 5, turn.

Repeat from ** once more and fasten off thread.

Fold collar in half, attach thread to the 26th dc from center front, and work towards center as for 5th row, until 12 ch-5 loops are made. Ch 5, turn, and work pattern as for 6th and 7th rows, but on these 12 loops, until 9 rows are made. Fasten off thread. Make a few ch-5 loops on right side of center back opening and tiny buttons on left side for fastening.

Ch 48, and work as for collar for 13 rows.

Lay flat on the pressing board, and press in shape with a warm iron and damp cloth.
