1st round
Make 40 sc over ring; join with a slip st, ch 4, turn.
2nd row
2 dc into same space as chain, * ch 3, skip 3 sc, 3 dc in next st; repeat from * 3 times more, ch 4, turn.
3rd row
1 dc in same space as chain; 2 dc in each remaining dc, ch 4, turn.
4th row
1 dc in top of each dc with a chain 1 between each dc, ch 1, turn.
5th row
* 1 sc in next space, ch 3, repeat from * across row. Fasten off.
Cord
Cord
Attach thread to first sc of sts remaining; 1 sc in each sc until you come to the center, make a chain 14-inches long; 1 sc in each remaining sc. Fasten off.
