Starting at short end, make a chain about 20 inches long. Ist row: Dcin 4th ch from hook, dcineachch across until 313 dc are made, counting turning chas1dc. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 3 (always to count as Ist dc of next row), turn.

2nd row

2nd row: Dcineachof next 3dc(1bl made), *ch2, skip 2dc,dcinnext dc(lsp). Repeat from * across to within last 3dc(1lO2 sps), dcineachof last 3d c (another bl). Ch 3, turn.

3rd row

3rd row: 1bl, 102 sps, 1bl. Ch 3, turn.

4th row

4th row: 1bl,64sps,2dcinnextsp,dcinnextdc (bl); 2 more bls, 5sps, 3 bls, 4sps, 2 bls, 3sps, 3 bls, 15 sps, | bl. Ch 3, turn.

Follow chart

Hereafter follow chart, beginning with 5th row, until design is completed. Piece should now measure about 12 inches. Then repeat 3rd row for 26 inches, ending at tree edge. To work pattern on other end, reverse design by working back from top row of design to Ist row, but starting design at opposite edge from tree (so that camel procession faces opposite direction). Fasten and break off.

Hereafter follow chart of Runner 7167- A, but have 4 more sps (than on Runner) at beginning and end of each row of chair back. After designis completed, repeat 3rd row twice, then work a row of bls. Fasten and break off.

Arm pieces — 1st row

ARM PIECES (Make 2)... Starting at bottom, make a chain about 12 inches long. Ist row: Dcin 4th ch from hook, dcineach ch across until 190 dc are made. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 3, turn.
