This material is sufficient for a set of 6 coasters.

With 2 strands of White ch 2.

7 sc in 2nd ch from hook.

2 sc in each sc around.

* Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (increase). Repeat from * around.

Sc in each sc around, making necessary increases to keep work flat, until there are 64 sc in the rnd and piece measures 2¾ inches in diameter. Sl st in next st, fasten off.

Attach 2 strands of shaded color, ch 1, turn. With wrong side of base toward you, make a long sc in each sc around—to make a long sc, work sc in base of each sc of previous rnd. Join with sl st.

Ch 5 (to count as dtr), 4 dtr in same place as sl st, drop st from hook, insert hook back in 5th st of ch-5 and draw dropped loop through, ch 1 to fasten. * Ch 1, skip next long sc, 5 dtr in next long sc, drop loop from hook, insert hook back in 1st dtr of this group and draw dropped loop through, ch 1 to fasten. Repeat from * around (32 dtr-groups). Join with sl st to 5th st of ch-5 first made.

Ch 1, sc in fastening ch of 1st group, sc in ch-1 sp, ** sc in next fastening ch, sc in ch-1 sp. Repeat from ** around; join. Fasten off.

Make 5 more coasters same as this.
