CROSS PANEL... Starting at bottom of panel, ch 68. 1st row: Dc in 8th ch from hook, * ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch (sp). Repeat from * across (21 sps). Ch 5, turn.

Dc in next dc (sp over sp), * 2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc (bl). Repeat from * to within last sp, ch 2, dc in 3rd st of turning ch-8. Ch 10, turn.

Dc in 8th ch from hook, ch 2, dc in 1st dc of previous row, sp over 1st sp, dc in each of next 3 dc (1 bl); ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc; make 16 more sps, 1 bl, 1 sp, ch 5, dc at base of last dc made, ch 5, dc in 3rd st of previous ch-5 (2 sps increased at each end). Ch 5, turn.

Sp over 1st sp, 3 bls, 1 sp, 15 bls, 1 sp, 3 bls, 1 sp. Ch 10, turn.

Inc. 2 sps; 1 sp, 1 bl, 3 sps, 1 bl, 1 sp, ch 3, skip 2 dc, sc in next dc, ch 3, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc (lacet); ch 5, skip 5 dc, dc in next dc (bar); make 1 more lacet, 1 bar, 1 lacet, 1 bar, 1 bl, 3 sps, 1 bl, 1 sp, inc. 2 sps. Ch 5, turn.

Sp over 1st sp, 3 bls, 1 sp, 3 bls, ch 3, sc in 3rd ch of ch-5, ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 5, dc in next dc; 1 lacet, 1 bar, 1 lacet, 1 bar, 1 sp, 3 bls, 1 sp, 3 bls, 1 sp. Ch 28, turn. Make 8 sps on ch-28. Then follow chart to top—to inc. sps at beginning of row, make 3 ch for each sp to be added, plus 4 ch. (Where an odd number of sps is increased at end of row, turn after last sp and sl st to 3rd st of ch-5, before beginning next row.) Fasten off.

LILY PANEL... Ch 68 and follow chart to top. Fasten off.

Make desired number of Cross Panels (an odd number is necessary). Make 1 panel less of Lily Panels. Sew Cross Panels and Lily Panels together alternately, with neat over-and-over stitches on wrong side.

Across top of lace, work a row of tr Separated by ch-2, having sps directly over dc-sps. Ch 3, turn and. keeping work flat, work a row of dc. Fasten off.

Work a row of sc along lower edge of lace, making ch-2 at points.
