Starting at center, ch 2. 1st rnd: 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook. 2nd rnd: 2 sc in each sc around. 3rd rnd: * Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (1 sc increased). Repeat from * around. 4th rnd: Sc in each sc around, increasing 6 sc evenly around. Repeat 4th rnd until piece measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter. Break off.

Embroidery And Assembly

Embroidery

Using 6 strands of Embroidery Floss, embroider a circle between the 8th and 9th rnds from outer edge. Embroider "one cent" over the center 4 rnds of outer edge. Make another piece the same way. Sew pieces together. Sew ring in place.
