Pearl Pal Shrug Pattern

Materials
MATERIALS: SPINNERIN SPECTATOR 10, 1 oz. pull sks. Dark Navy 4209 Crochet Hook No. 6 Pearls Other color suggestions: Amethyst 4213—Black 4209; Pearl Grey 4221—Raspberry Red 4217. GAUGE: 7 Hdc=1". NOTE: Work only in back loop of st.
Right Half
RIGHT HALF: Ch110; turn. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in following 24 ch. Then, hdc in remaining ch. Ch 2, turn.
Row 2: Work a hdc in each hdc and sc in each sc of previous row. Ch 1, turn.
Row 3: Sc in each sc and hdc in each hdc of previous row. Ch 2, turn.
Repeat Rows 2 and 3 until piece measures 34" at hdc edge. Fasten off.
Sleeve Band: 1st Row: Work a row of sc along sc edge, holding in to fit arm just below elbow. Ch 1, turn.
2nd Row: Sc in each sc. Ch 1, turn.
Repeat this 2nd row until band measures 1". Fasten off.
Body Band: Work a row of sc along the hdc edge. Ch 1, turn. Now, repeat 2nd row of sleeve band until band measures 1". Fasten off.
Left Half
LEFT HALF: Work exactly the same as for Right Half.
Finishing
FINISHING: Seam each sleeve. Join and sew both sleeves tog for about 12" (back). With same yarn, string pearls. Using crochet Hook, trim sleeve bands and around body by making 2 sc between each pearl, being careful not to skip any sts. Work loosely. Block lightly.
