Plume Pin Pattern
Six crocheted plumes wired and sewn into a feather-style pin with bow and pin back in pearl cotton. Originally published in Spool Cotton #208, Fascinating Toppers.

Where more than one color is used, a ball of each color is required.
Follow picture for trimmings.
Plume
With Dusty Pink, ch 25.
In 2nd ch from hook make sc, half dc, dc and 3 tr, tr in next 3 ch, dc in next 3 ch, half dc in next 3 ch, sc in next 2 ch, 3 sc in next ch (remaining ch's form stem). Working along other side of starting chain, make sc in next ch, half dc in next 3 ch, dc in next 3 ch, tr in next 3 ch, in last ch make 3 tr, dc, half dc and sc. Join. Break off.
Attach Shaded Pink in 1st half dc, * ch 3, sc in 3rd ch from hook, sc in next st. Repeat from * around. Break off.
Insert a piece of wire up center of 3 plumes. Holding a wired and un-wired plume together, sew along edges of 1st rnd. Join other plumes like this. Sew plumes together. Sew a bow at bottom and a pin at back.
