Twist strands
Fold 5 yards of Red in three lengths, twist tightly, hold the two ends, fold in half and let the strands twist themselves. Do the same with the 52 yards of White and the 6 yards of Blue. Arrange strands so each strand is about a half inch below the other and tie a tight knot at ends. Sew fasteners to knots or crochet a cord for tying.
