(CC) Regal Black 356 Crochet Hook No. OO Other color suggestions: White 801—Regal Black 356 Baby Lilac 847—Regal Black 356 Black 809—Shining White 350 Navy 807—Evening Pink 351. GAUGE: 5 sts=1". NOTE: Work only in front loop of st throughout Pat. St.

Pattern

Foundation

With MC, ch 342 sts; turn. Dc in 4th ch from hook and start Pat. St as follows:

Rows 1 & 2

Rows 1 & 2: Using MC, dc in each ch across; ch 3, turn.

Row 3

Row 3: Changing to CC and working over MC strand to hold it in place at top of last row, * dc in each of the first 3 dc; changing to MC when working off the last 2 loops of 3rd dc; using MC and working over the CC strand, dc in each of the next 11 dc, changing to CC when working off last 2 loops of 11th dc *; repeat from * to * across, always changing colors in last dc of each group. Ch 3, turn.

Rows 4 & 5

Rows 4 & 5: Using MC, dc in each dc across. Ch 3, turn.

Row 6

Row 6: Using MC and working over CC strand to hold it in place at top of last row, dc in each of the first 7 dc; changing to CC when working off last 2 loops of 7th dc; * using CC and working over the MC strand, dc in each of the 3 dc, changing to MC when working off last 2 loops of 3rd dc; using MC and working over the CC strand, dc in each of the next 11 dc, changing to CC when working off last 2 loops of the 11th dc *; repeat from * to * across. Ch 3, turn.

Repeat these 6 rows for Pat. St until stole measures desired width, ending with Rows 1 and 2. Do not block.
