Lace
Starting at short side, ch 204 to measure about 15½ inches.
Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each of next 2 ch, ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch (1 sp); make 15 more sps, dc in each of next 3 ch (1 bl); 2 sps, 2 bls, 3 sps, 1 bl, 10 sps, 1 bl, 29 sps, 1 bl. Ch 14, turn.
Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in each of next 10 ch, dc in next dc (4 bls increased); ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc, 11 more sps, dc in each of next 2 ch, dc in next dc (1 bl); 6 more bls, 3 sps, 5 bls, 4 sps, 3 bls, 8 sps, 2 bls, 4 sps, 1 bl, 17 sps, 1 bl. Ch 3, turn.
1 bl, 13 sps, 2 bls, 3 sps, 1 bl, 1 sp, 2 bls, 8 sps, 2 bls, 11 sps, 1 bl, 2 sps, 9 bls, 13 sps, 1 bl, ch 2, make a foundation dc—to make a foundation dc, thread over, insert hook in 3rd st of turning ch, thread over and draw loop through; thread over and draw through one loop, thus making a chain st; complete as for a dc. Make 2 more foundation dc by inserting hook in the ch of previous dc; make another dc in the usual way (1 bl increased). Ch 3, turn.
Hereafter, starting at 4th row, follow chart until 31 rows are completed; turn.
Sl st in each of 4 dc (1 bl decreased), ch 3 and follow chart across. Ch 3, turn.
Now follow chart to top row. Then repeat entire design for desired length.
