Bone Crochet Hook No. 5... ¼ yard of brown felt ... 2 bone rings... 11-inch zipper... ¼ yard of ribbon. Use Knitting Worsted single; use 3 threads of Pearl Cotton. GAUGE: 1 sc and 1 shell make 1 inch; 2 rows make 1 inch.

BOTTOM ... Starting at center with Brown, ch 2.

6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.

2 sc in each sc around (12 sc).

* Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around (18 sc).

Sc in each sc around.

Repeat 3rd rnd (27 sc).

Repeat 4th rnd.

* 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc. Repeat from * around (36 sc).

Repeat 4th rnd.

* 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 3 sc. Repeat from * around (45 sc).

Repeat 4th rnd.

* 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc. Repeat from * around (60 sc).

Repeat 4th rnd.

TOP ... 15th rnd: * Skip 1 sc, 5 dc in next sc (shell made), skip 1 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Drop Brown.

Attach Yellow and make sc in each st around. Drop Yellow.

Pick up Brown. * Skip 2 sc, sc in next sc, skip 2 sc, 5 dc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Drop Brown.

Repeat 16th and 17th rnds alternately.

With Brown, * sc in center st of shell, shell in next sc. Repeat from * around.

Cut a piece of cardboard for Bottom, then line bag with felt. Sew zipper in place across top. Sew rings at sides. Sew handle to rings.
