Ridged Rascal Purse No. 793
Vintage Dritz Belastraw purse with ridged diagonal bands in main and contrasting colors, bottom and side worked like Pert 'n Perky Bag No. 801, and strap like Fleur de Lys Bag No. 797. Originally published in Dritz Hat and Bag Creations, Volume 10, 1947.

- DRITZ Steel Crochet Hook · No. O (Zero)
Pattern instructions
Bottom
BOTTOM: Work same as bottom of Pert 'n Perky Bag No. 801.
Side
Then work Ist and 2nd rnds of Side same as Pert 'n Perky Bag No. 801.
Repeat 2nd rnd until Side measures 8 1/4". End off.
Band
BAND: Starting at center of top edge run a thread from stitch to stitch diagonally across front to lower edge.
With Main Color work sc through each sc following thread.
Then with Contrasting Color work sc in each sc of Band.
Make 6 Bands in all having about 5 sts between Bands. Mount on DRITZ Bag Lining.
Strap
STRAP: With Main Color work same as Handle of Fleur de Lys Bag No. 797 for 34". Sew ends of strap in place.
