Butterfly Bow Pattern #2000
A butterfly-shaped bow with a pointed center section and knot-stitch wings edged with ch-5 picots.

Pattern instructions
Center Section
Ch 28, turn. Sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.
Skip 1st sc, sc in next. Sc across to within last sc, ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row until work comes to a point and fasten off. Attach thread at end of foundation ch and work along other side of ch with sc in each st across, ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row as before, until work comes to a point. Then fasten thread at end of foundation ch, ch 15, sc in st from which ch started (to make loop). * Ch 6, sc into loop, repeat from * 50 more times, turn.
2 knot sts, sc under 1st ch-loop below. * 2 knot sts, sc under next ch-loop. Repeat from *. After last loop, make 1 Knot st, join with sl st in 1st row of center section. Ch 1, sl st in 1st st of next row. Turn.
2 knot sts, skip 1st Knot st of last row, * sc under double loop of next knot st, sc under double loop of next knot st. Make 2 knot sts. Repeat from * along row, ending with 1 knot st joined with sl st to next row of center piece. Turn. Repeat this row for 13 rows of knot sts, joining ends of rows to center section. Then make row of knot sts, with a ch-5 picot between sc's. Finish off. Attach thread at other end of foundation ch and work other side to correspond.
