Coaster

Foundation

Starting at center, ch 8, join with sl st to form ring.

1st rnd

Ch 1, 16 sc in ring. Join with sl st to 1st sc made.

2nd rnd

Ch 1, sc in same place as sl st, * ch 5, skip 1 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around, joining last ch-5 to 1st sc made.

3rd rnd

Ch 1, * in next loop make 3 sc, ch 1 and 3 sc. Repeat from * around. Join.

4th rnd

Sl st to 1st ch-1 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, * ch 9, sc in next ch-1 sp. Repeat from * around, joining last ch-9 to 1st sc.

5th rnd

Ch 1, sc in same place as sl st, * in next loop make 4 sc, ch 3, sc in 3rd ch from hook (a ch-3 p made), and 4 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join.

6th rnd

Sl st across 3 sc, ch 1, sc in next sc, * ch 9, skip p, sc in next sc, ch 9, skip 7 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around. Join.

7th rnd

Sl st in 3 ch, ch 1, 4 sc in same loop, * ch 3, 3 sc in next loop, ch 3, 4 sc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join.

8th rnd

Sl st across 3 sc, sl st in next ch, ch 5, holding back last 2 loops of each dtr on hook, make 2 dtr in next ch, thread over and draw through all loops on hook, * ch 15, skip 1 ch, 3 sc and 1 ch, holding back last 2 loops of each dtr on hook, make 3 dtr in next ch, thread over and draw through all loops on hook (cluster), ch 1, skip 1 ch, 4 sc and 1 ch, cluster in next ch. Repeat from * around, ending with cluster, ch 1, sl st in top of 1st cluster made.

9th rnd

Ch 5, dc in next loop, (ch 1, dc in same loop) 10 times; * (ch 2, dc in top of next cluster) twice; ch 2, in next loop make 11 dc with ch-1 between. Repeat from * around, joining last ch-2 with sl st in 3rd st of 1st ch-5. Turn, sl st in last sp, turn.

10th rnd

Ch 5, dc in next sp, * (ch 2, skip 1 dc, dc in next dc) 5 times; (ch 2, dc in next sp) 3 times. Repeat from * around. Join.

11th rnd

Sl st in next sp, ch 5, * dc in next sp, ch 2. Repeat from * around. Join, turn, sl st in last sp, turn.

12th rnd

Ch 6, * dc in next sp, ch 3. Repeat from * around. Join.

13th rnd

Sl st in next sp, ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, * 3 dc in next sp. Repeat from * around. Join.

14th rnd

Ch 1, sc in same place as sl st, ch 5, skip 5 dc, between 5th and 6th dc make 2 dtr, ch 5 and 2 dtr, * ch 5, skip 6 dc, sc between 6th and 7th dc, ch 5, skip 6 dc, between 6th and 7th dc make 2 dtr, ch 5 and 2 dtr. Repeat from * around. Join.

15th rnd

* In next loop make 3 sc, ch-3 p, and 2 sc, sc in 2 dtr, in next loop make 2 sc, p, 2 sc, sc in next dtr, ch 15, turn, skip 2 sc, p and 2 sc, sl st in next sc, turn. Working over last chain make 4 sc, (p, 2 sc) twice; p, 4 sc, sc in next dtr, in next loop make 2 sc, p and 3 sc. Repeat from * around. Join and fasten off. Starch lightly, press.
