Cone Button Trimmed Pin Pattern
Button-trimmed crochet pin worked like the first rounds of a strawberry motif, with a separate top and sewn-on buttons. Originally published in Spool Cotton #208, Fascinating Toppers.

Note
Where more than one color is used, a ball of each color is required.
Follow picture for trimmings.
Button Trimmed Pin
Work as for first 11 rnds of Strawberry (24 sc). Sl st in next st. Ch 1, turn.
Working from wrong side, * make sc in next 2 sc, ch 4. Repeat from * around.
Sc in each sc around.
Repeat the last 2 rnds once more. Break off.
Insert pin and stuff with cotton.
Top
Ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
2 sc in each sc.
* Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around.
* 2 sc in next sc, sc in next 2 sc. Repeat from * around.
Holding the 2 pieces together make a rnd of sc working through both thicknesses. Break off. Sew on buttons.
