Crochet Earring

1 ball each Yellow and Shaded Pinks.

1 ball each Red and White.

1 ball each White and Iridescent.

1 ball Shaded Yellows.

With Yellow ch 4, join to form a ring, ch 1 and work 6 sc in ring, join.

* Ch 3, sc in next sc, repeat from * all around, cut Yellow.

Attach Shaded Pinks and work 1 sc, 4 dc, 1 sc in each ch 3 loop, join.

* Ch 5, sl st in back of work between next 2 petals, repeat from * 5 times.

Ch 1 and over each loop work 1 sc, 6 dc, 1 sc, join.

Same as 4th round but having 6 chs in each loop.

Ch 1 and over each loop work 1 sc, 8 dc, 1 sc, join.

Same as 4th round but having 7 chs in each loop.

Ch 1 and over each loop work 1 sc, 2 dc, 6 trc, 2 dc, 1 sc, join, cut thread. Glue to plastic earring base.

With Red ch 5, join to form a ring, ch 1 and work 10 sc in ring, join, drop Red. Attach White and working in front loop of sts only, * ch 4, 4 trc in same space, ch 4, sl st in same space, sl st in next st, sl st in next st, repeat from * all around (5 petals), drop White.

Pick up Red, * ch 4, 1 sc in each of the 4 trc of next petal, ch 4, sl st between petals, repeat from * all around, join.

Sl st in back of work to center of petal and working in the free loop of sts of 1st round, * ch 6, sl st in center of next petal in back of work, repeat from * all around, drop Red.

Pick up White, sl st in 1st loop, * ch 5, 5 dtrc in same loop, ch 5, sl st in same loop, sl st in next loop, repeat from * all around, cut White.

Pick up Red, * ch 5, 1 sc in each of the 5 dtrc of next petal, ch 5, sl st between petals, repeat from * all around, join, cut thread. Glue to plastic earring base.

With White ch 5, join to form a ring, ch 5, dc in ring, * ch 2, dc in ring, repeat from * 5 times, ch 2, join in 3rd st of ch.

Ch 1, * 3 sc in next loop, repeat from * all around, join.

Working in sc, increase in every 3rd st, join, then work 1 row even (32 sc), cut thread.

Attach Iridescent, * ch 5, sl st in same space (picot loop), ch 2, skip 1 sc, sl st in next sc, repeat from * all around.

* Ch 2 and keeping picot loop in front of work, sl st in next ch 2 loop, ch 5, sl st in same space, repeat from * all around, cut thread.

With Iridescent ch 2, 6 sc in 2nd st from hook, join in 1st sc.

* Ch 5, sl st in same space, ch 2, sl st in next sc, repeat from * all around, join.

* Ch 2, sl st in next ch 2 loop, ch 5, sl st in same space, repeat from * all around always keeping the picot loop to front of work.

Work in same manner as last round but having ch 3 between each picot loop, join, cut thread. Sew center section to center of back section. Glue to earring base.

Ch 7, join to form a ring, ch 3, 2 dc in ring, * ch 7, 3 dc in ring, repeat from * 3 times, ch 7, join.

Sl st into loop, ch 3, 15 dc in same loop, sc in center dc of next 3 dc group, * 16 dc in next loop, sc in center dc of next 3 dc group, repeat from * once, ch 4, 12 dtrc with ch 1 between each dtrc in next loop, ch 1, 2 trc with ch 1 between in same loop, ch 1, 2 dc with ch 1 between in same loop, sc in center dc of next 3 dc group, 2 dc with ch 1 between in next loop, ch 1, 2 trc with ch 1 between in same loop, ch 1, 12 dtrc with ch 1 between each dtrc in same loop, ch 4, sl st in center dc of next dc group, cut thread. Attach thread in 1st loop of 1st large petal, * ch 3, sc in next loop, repeat from * across the 2 large petals only, cut thread. Glue to earring base.
