Curtain Pull Pattern #963
A curtain pull worked in single crochet over a ring with decreasing edges, ch-5 loops, a twisted cord, and beads.
Materials
- Milward's steel crochet hook · No. 5 or 6
Pattern instructions
Curtain Pull
Starting at ring, make 31 sc in ring. Ch 1, turn.
Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn.
Skip 2nd sc (1 sc decreased), sc in each of next 12 sc, ch 5, skip 4 sc, sc in each of next 12 sc (2 sc decreased). Ch 1, turn.
Skip 2nd sc, sc in each sc across to within 2 sc from end, making 5 sc in ch-5 loop. Ch 1, turn.
Skip 2nd sc, sc in each sc to within 2 sc from 5-sc in loop, ch 5, skip 4 sc, make sc in each of center 3 sc of loop, ch 5, skip 4 sc, sc in each sc across to within 2 sc from end. Ch 1, turn.
Work as for 3rd row, making a ch-5 loop over 3 sc between loops of previous row. Hereafter work in this manner, decreasing at edges until 2 sts remain.
Cord
Work as for cord of No. 908, but making twists only, and inserting beads while working, ½ inch apart. Fasten cord in place (see illustration).
