Bag

1st row

DRAWSTRING BAG ... With Turquoise ch 52, dc in 3rd st from hook, sc in next st, * ch 2, dc in same st, skip 2 chs, sc in next ch, repeat from * to end of ch, turn.

2nd Row

2nd Row—* Ch 2, dc in same space, sc in next sc, repeat from * to last sc, ch 2, dc in same space, sc in ch 2 loop, turn.

Rows 3–11

Repeat the last row 9 times, cut yarn.

12th Row

12th Row—Attach Lt. Yellow and work same as 2nd row, cut yarn.

13th Row

13th Row—Attach Turquoise and work same as 2nd row, cut yarn.

Rows 14–17

Repeat the last 2 rows twice, do not cut yarn at end of last row.

Next 5 Rows

Next 5 Rows—Work same as 2nd row, cut yarn.

Opposite side

Working on opposite side of starting ch, and with right side of 1st row toward you, attach Turquoise, * ch 2, dc in same space, sc in same space with sc of 1st row, repeat from * across row ending with sc in end st, turn. Repeat from 2nd row to end of 1st section.

Fold and sew

Fold work in half and sew the 2 sides together.

Next Row—Beading: With right side of bag toward you attach Turquoise at joining, ch 7, trc in next sc, * ch 3, trc in next sc, repeat from * 14 times, ch 3, trc in joining, * ch 3, trc in next sc, repeat from * around remainder of work, ch 3, join in 4th st of ch, turn.

Next Row

Next Row—Ch 2, dc in same space, sc in next trc, * ch 2, dc in same space, sc in next trc, repeat from * all around ending with sl st in joining, cut yarn, turn.

Next Row (Yellow)

Next Row—Attach Lt. Yellow and work same as 2nd row, ending with sl st, turn.

Next 2 Rows

Next 2 Rows—Attach Turquoise and work same as last row, cut yarn at end of last row.

Tie

Tie

Tie: With Turquoise work a chain about 30 inches long, sl st in 2nd st from hook, 1 sl st in each remaining st of ch, cut yarn. Work another tie in same manner. Lace 1 tie through beading. Lace other tie at opposite side. Tie free ends together.
