Crocheted glass jackets with popcorn-stitch sides in white and shaded pinks pearl cotton, originally published in Spool Cotton #168.

Pattern instructions
Base
With White, ch 5, in 4th ch from hook make 14 dc. Join with sl st to top of starting ch.
Ch 3, 2 dc in each st around (29 sts). Join.
Ch 3, * dc in next st, 2 dc in next st. Repeat from * around (43 sts).
Dc in each st around, increasing 14 sts on 4th rnd and 9 sts on 5th rnd (66 sts, and piece measures 2½ inches in diameter). Join. Ch 1, turn.
Sl st in each st around. Join with sl st to 1st sl st. Ch 1, turn.
Sc in each sl st around (66 sts). Join to 1st sc made.
Side
Ch 3 (to count as 1 dc), dc in next 4 sts, * pc st in next st—to make a pc st, ch 1, make 3 tr in next st, drop loop from hook, insert hook in ch-1 preceding 3 tr, and draw dropped loop through; dc in next 5 sts. Repeat from * around, ending with pc st. Join to top of starting ch-3.
Ch 3, dc in each dc and in tip of each pc st around (66 sts). Join.
Ch 3, dc in next st, * pc st in next st, dc in next 5 sts. Repeat from * around, ending with dc in 3 sts. Join.
Repeat 2nd rnd. These 4 rnds constitute pattern. Repeat 1st and 2nd rnds once more. Fasten off White, attach Shaded Pinks and work 3rd and 4th rnds. Now repeat pattern with Shaded Pinks, until side measures 3 inches. Fasten off.
