Six wide and five Narrow Strips are required for a Spread 75 x 110 inches. These are sewed or crocheted together with the same material used for crocheting. Work a row of sc and one row of open meshes around Spread. Fringe on 2 long sides and foot of Spread. Cut thread 12 inches long and tie 12 strands in every other mesh. The Spread will be equally attractive made of "Puritan" or "Trojan" Crochet Cotton or "Star" Pearl Cotton size 5.
