Laurel Luncheon Set Pattern #7262

Glass Doily
GLASS DOILY (Make 6)... Ch 12, join.
1st rnd: Ch 6 (to count as tr and ch-2), * tr in ring, ch 2. Repeat from * 16 more times. Join with sl st to 4th ch of ch-6 first made.
2nd rnd: Sc in sp, * ch 3, sc in next sp. Repeat from * 16 more times, ch 1; dc in sc first made.
3rd rnd: Sc under dc, * ch 4, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 2, dc in last sc.
4th rnd: Same as 3rd rnd, but make ch-5 loops (instead of ch-4).
5th rnd: Same as 4th rnd, but make ch-6 loops; end with ch 3, dc in sc.
6th rnd: Same as 5th rnd, making ch-7 loops and ending with ch 3, tr in sc.
7th rnd: Same as 6th rnd, making ch-8 loops and ending with ch 4, tr in sc.
8th rnd: Same as 7th rnd, ending with ch 4, dtr in sc.
9th rnd: Ch 5 (to count as dtr); 3 dtr at base of ch-5, holding back the last loop of each d tr on hook; thread over and draw through all loops on hook (a cluster), ch 1; 4 dtr in 4th ch of next ch-8 loop, holding back the last loop of each d tr on hook; thread over and complete a cluster as before, * ch 10, make another cluster in same ch as last cluster, ch 1, cluster in 4th ch of next loop. Repeat from * around, ending with cluster in same place as 1st cluster, ch 10, sl st in tip of 1st cluster.
10th rnd: Sl st in next ch, sc in next ch; *(ch 5, skip 1 ch, sc in next ch) 3 times; ch 3, sc in 3rd ch of next loop. Repeat from * around. Join.

BREAD AND BUTTER PLATE DOILY (Make 6) ... Work 1st 8 rnds as for Glass Doily.
9th rnd: Same as 9th rnd of Glass Doily, making ch-12 loops (instead of ch-10).
10th rnd: Sc between 2 clusters, * ch 13, skip loop, sc between next 2 clusters. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st.
11th rnd: Sl st in next 6 ch, sc over ch-13 loop and in 7th ch of ch-12 loop of 9th rnd, * ch 15, sc in 7th ch of next ch-12 loop of 9th rnd, working over the ch-13 loop of 10th rnd. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 15, sl st in sc.
12th rnd: Sl st in next 3 ch, sc in next ch; *(ch 5, skip 1 ch, sc in next ch) 4 times; ch 4, sc in 4th ch of next loop. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st.

18th to 23rd rnds incl: Repeat 10th to 15th rnds incl. of Bread and Butter Plate Doily. Fasten off.
Centerpiece
