Ch 1, * 1 sc, 1 s dc, 3 dc, 1 s dc, 1 sc in next ch 4 loop, repeat from * all around, join in ch 1.

Ch 6, sc between next 2 sc between petals, * ch 5, sc in space between next 2 sc between petals, repeat from * 3 times, ch 5, join.

Ch 1, * 1 sc, 1 s dc, 5 dc, 1 s dc, 1 sc in next loop, repeat from * all around, join in ch 1.

Ch 8, sc between next 2 sc between petals, * ch 7, sc between next 2 sc between petals, repeat from * 3 times, ch 7, join in 1st st of 1st loop.

Ch 3, working in dc, work 3 dc in center st of each of the 2 corners and increase a sufficient number of times on shaped edge to keep work flat. Repeat last round twice, cut yarn at end of last round.

Attach Black in center st of next corner, s dc in next st, 1 dc in each of the next 23 dc, s dc in next st, sl st in next st.

Ch 1, sc in same space, * ch 1, skip 1 st, sc in next st, repeat from * all around, ch 1, join in 1st sc.

Ch 3, working in dc, work 1 dc in each st to opposite corner, do not work across straight edge, turn.

Work in same manner as 16th row but do not work across straight side, cut yarn. With Black crochet a ch about 1½ yards long and lace through last row of ch 1 spaces.

Work Rose same as seat cover. With Green work a two 3 dc cluster st group between each petal same as on seat cover.

Attach Black in center dtrc of any petal, 3 sc in same space, * sc in next st, s dc in next st, dc in next st, trc in next st already worked in, s dc in next cluster st, 2 sc in next loop, s dc in next cluster st, trc in next st already worked in, dc in next st, s dc in next st, sc in next st, 3 sc in next st, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join in 1st sc.

Ch 3 (always counts as 1 dc), 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc in next st, * 1 dc in each of the next 14 sts, 1 dc, ch 2, 1 dc in next st, repeat from * 4 times, 1 dc in each of the next 13 sts, join in 3rd st of ch.

Ch 3, * 2 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip the ch 2 loop, 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in each of the next 14 dc, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join in 3rd st of ch.

Ch 3, * 1 dc in each dc to within 1 st before the ch 2 loop, 2 dc in next dc, ch 2, skip the ch 2 loop, 2 dc in next dc, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join. Repeat last round 6 times, always having 2 more sts in each dc group in each round, cut yarn at end of last round.

Wind all colors over a 2 inch cardboard, cut one end. Double in half and knot through each st alternating colors. Trim fringe.

With Lt. Yellow ch 5, join to form a ring. 1st ROUND: Ch 1, * 1 sc, 3 dc, 1 sc in ring, repeat from * 4 times, sl st in ring.

* Ch 3, skip 3 dc, keeping petals to front, insert hook from back in space between next 2 sc and sl st over ring, repeat from * 4 times (5 loops).

Ch 1, * 1 sc, 1 s dc, 5 dc, 1 s dc, 1 sc in next loop (s dc: yarn over hook, insert in loop, pull loop through, yarn over and pull through all loops at one time), repeat from * 4 times, join.

Ch 2, *. Keeping petal to front, insert hook from back between 2nd and 3rd dc of next petal, sl st over ch of same petal, ch 5, repeat from * all around, join in 1st sl st.

Ch 1, then work 1 sc, 1 s dc, 7 dc, 1 s dc, 1 sc in each loop, join in 1st sc, cut yarn.

Attach Dk. Green in space between the 7th dc and s dc of any petal, * 2 cluster sts with ch 3 between in space between next 2 sc, sl st in space between next s dc and 1st dc of next petal, ch 3, sl st in space between 7th dc and next s dc of same petal, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join, cut yarn.

Attach Black in any ch 3 loop between cluster sts, 3 sc in same space, * 1 s dc in next sl st, 3 s dc in next ch 3 loop, 1 s dc in next sl st, 3 sc in next loop, repeat from * all around ending to correspond, join in 1st sc.

Ch 3 (counts as 1st dc), working in back loop of each st 1 dc in each remaining st, join in 3rd st of ch.

Ch 3, working in both loops 1 dc in each st, join in 3rd st of ch, cut yarn.

Attach Dk. Green in any st, working in sc inc 6 sts evenly spaced, join, cut yarn.

Attach Lt. Yellow, working in sc inc 1 st in every 4th st, join, cut yarn.
