Comb

Foundation

Make a ch 6 inches long.

1st row

Dc in 8th ch from hook, * ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. Repeat from * across until 12 sps are made. Ch 6, turn.

2nd row

Thread over, draw up a loop in 3rd ch from hook, (thread over, draw up a loop in same ch) twice; thread over and draw through all loops on hook, ch 1—a cluster made; holding the last 2 loops of each dc on hook make a dc in next 2 dc, thread over and draw through all loops on hook, * ch 3, make a cluster as before, holding the last 2 loops of each dc on hook make a dc in same dc as last dc, dc in next dc, thread over and draw through all loops on hook. Repeat from * across, ending with dc in turning ch. Break off.

Finish

Cover top of comb with ribbon. Sew crocheted piece on top. Sew a sequin to center of each cluster, making a French knot on each sequin. Sew veiling along top to fit comb.
