Shade Pull Doll Pattern #FV-400

Starting at top with Nile Green, ch 37.

Dc in 4th ch from hook and in next 5 ch, ch 2, dc in same ch as last dc, dc in next 6 ch, ch 2, dc in same ch as last dc, dc in next 10 ch, ch 2, dc in same ch as last dc, dc in next 6 ch, ch 2, dc in same ch as last dc, dc in next 6 ch. Ch 3, turn.

Skip first dc, * dc in each dc across group to next ch-2 sp, in next ch-2 sp make 2 dc, ch 2 and 2 dc. Repeat from * across, ending with dc in top of starting chain. Ch 3, turn.

Skip first dc, dc in next 8 dc, ch 5, skip next 11 dc, dc in next 15 dc, ch 5, skip next 11 dc, dc in next 8 dc and in top of turning chain. Ch 4, turn.

Skip first 2 dc, * dc in next dc, ch 1, skip 1 dc. Repeat from * across, ending with dc in top of turning chain. Ch 3, turn.

* 2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc. Repeat from * across, ending with dc in 3rd ch of turning ch-4. Ch 1, turn.

Sc in first dc, * ch 5, skip 1 dc, sc in next dc. Repeat from * across. Ch 5, turn.

Sc in first loop, * ch 5, sc in next loop. Repeat from * across. Ch 6, turn.

Repeat last row, having ch-6 loops instead of ch-5 loops. Ch 7 to turn at end of 9th row.

Repeat last row, having ch-7 loops instead of ch-6 loops. Break off at end of 11th row.

Starting at center with Shaded Pinks, ch 20. (Make 20)

Sc in 2nd ch from hook, half dc in next 2 ch, dc in next 3 ch, tr in next 7 ch, dc in next 3 ch, half dc in next 2 ch, 3 sc in last ch. Now work around as follows: Working along opposite side of starting chain, make sc in each ch across, 3 sc in last sc on row, sc in each st across. Join and break off. Sew petals evenly around skirt.

Starting at center with Nile Green, ch 6. Join with sl st to form ring.

Ch 3, 23 dc in ring. Join.

Ch 3, dc in same place as sl st, * dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Join.

Ch 3, dc in each dc around. Join.

Sc in same place as sl st, * ch 5, skip 1 dc, sc in next dc. Repeat from * around. Join.

Sl st to center of first loop, sc in same loop, * ch 6, sc in next loop. Repeat from * around. Join and break off.

Make 6 petals as for Skirt. Sew petals together joining 10 sts on each petal to form crown of Hat. Sew to Hat. Attach a piece of Nile Green to side of Hat and make a chain 3 inches long for tie. Make a tie on opposite side.

With Nile Green doubled, make a chain 7 inches long. Sew to top of Hat.

Starch Hat and Dress heavily and press. Slip Dress over doll and sew up back seam.
