Pattern instructions
Place Mat Motif
Motif (Make 35) ... Starting at center with Canary Yellow, ch 4.
11 dc in 4th ch from hook. Join to top of starting chain. Hereafter pick up back loop only of each dc.
Ch 3, dc in next dc, (5 dc in next dc, dc in next 2 dc) 3 times; 5 dc in next dc. Join.
Ch 3, dc in each dc around, making 5 dc in center dc of each 5-dc group. Join. Break off at end of 5th rnd.
Trimming
Attach Fudge Brown to any free loop of dc on first rnd, sc in same place, sc in each dc around. Join with sl st. Break off. Complete other rnds in same manner, making 3 sc in center dc of each 5-dc group. Break off.
Sew motifs together, making 5 rows of 7 motifs. Block to measurements.
Glass Jacket Bottom
Starting at center with Yellow, work as for Tartan Place Mat & Glass Jacket Pattern.
Side Piece
Make and trim 3 motifs same as for Place Mat. Sew motifs together and sew to bottom.
