Pattern instructions
Note
Use 2 strands of "Knit-Cro-Sheen" and 1 strand of Rayon Crochet throughout.
Place Mat
Starting at center with No. 2 hook, ch 2.
8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join with sl st to first sc.
2 sc in each sc around. Join.
Sc in same place as sl st, * ch 2, dc in same place, skip next sc, sc in next sc (shell made). Repeat from * around, ending with dc.
* Sc over next ch-2 bar, ch 2, 3 dc over same bar (3 dc shell made). Repeat from * around, ending with 3 dc.
* Sc over next ch-2 bar, ch 2, 3 dc over same bar, sc in 3rd dc of same shell, ch 2, dc in same dc (1 shell increased). Repeat from * around (8 shells increased).
Repeat 4th rnd.
* (Sc over next ch-2 bar, ch 2, 3 dc over same bar) twice; sc in 3rd dc of same shell, ch 2, dc in same dc. Repeat from * around (8 shells increased).
Repeat 4th rnd.
Inc 8 shells around. Repeat last 3 rnds until 22 shell rnds have been completed. Sl st in next ch-2 bar. Break off. Block to measurements.
Glass Jacket Bottom
Using a single strand of "Knit-Cro-Sheen" and No. 7 hook, work as for Tartan Place Mat & Glass Jacket Pattern.
Side Piece
Attach 2 strands of "Knit-Cro-Sheen" and 1 strand of Rayon Crochet to any sc and, using No. 2 hook, make sc in same place, * ch 2, 3 dc in same place, skip 3 sc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around, ending with 3 dc.
Repeat 4th rnd of Place Mat. At end of 8th rnd, sl st in ch-2 bar. Break off.
