Motif

Ch 26, sc in 2nd st from hook, * ch 1, skip next st of ch, sc in next st of ch, repeat from * across row, ch 1, turn.

2nd Row

Sc in 1st sc, * dc in next ch 1 space, sc in next sc, repeat from * across row.

3rd Row

Sc in 1st sc, * ch 1, skip next dc, sc in next sc, repeat from * across row, ch 1, turn.

Repeat

Repeat the last 2 rows until work measures 10 inches, cut yarn.

Black Edging

With Black working around entire motif work 1 sc in each st across top and lower edge, 1 sc in each row on sides and 3 sc in each corner st, join, cut yarn.

Color Motifs

Work 20 more Motifs in same manner working 3 Motifs of each color.

Leftover Yarn Motifs

Then with yarn left over from each color work 3 more motifs in same manner working 3 rows of each color.

Finishing

Finishing

Block each Motif. With Black sew Motifs tog sewing through back loop of sts arranging colors as illustrated.
