Starting

BLOCK... Starting at center, ch 16, join with sl st to form ring.

1st rnd

1st rnd: Ch 3, 31 dc in ring. Join to 3rd st of ch-3.

2nd rnd

2nd rnd: Ch 6, * skip 1 dc, dc in next dc, ch 3. Repeat from * around. Join to 3rd st of ch-6 (16 sps).

3rd rnd

3rd rnd: Into each ch-3 sp make sc, half dc, 3 dc, half dc and sc (a petal).

4th rnd

4th rnd: Sl st in each st to 2nd dc of 1st petal incl., ch 11, tr tr in same place as sl st; *(ch 4, dc in 2nd dc of next petal) 3 times; ch 4, into 2nd dc of next petal make tr tr, ch 5 and tr tr. Repeat from * around. Join last ch-4 with sl st to 6th ch of ch-11 first made.

5th rnd

5th rnd: * Into corner loop make 4 sc, ch 1 and 4 sc; 5 sc in each of next 4 loops. Repeat from * around; join.

6th and 7th rnds

6th and 7th rnds: Sc in each sc around, making sc, ch 1 and sc in each corner; join.

8th rnd

8th rnd: Sl st to ch-1 incl. at corner, ch 8, dc in same place as sl st; * (ch 3, skip 2 sc, dc in next sc) 10 times; ch 3; into corner ch-1 make dc, ch 5 and dc. Repeat from * around, ending with ch 3, sl st in 3rd st of ch-8.

9th rnd

9th rnd: Sl st in loop, ch 3; in corner loop make dc, 2 tr, ch 3, 2 tr and 2 dc; * sc in next sp; (into next sp make 2 dc, tr, ch 3, tr and 2 dc; sc in next sp) 5 times; in corner loop make 2 dc, 2 tr, ch 3, 2 tr and 2 dc. Repeat from * around; join.
