Sleeves

SLEEVES

EDGING

EDGING: 1st Row. With right side of work toward you attach "STAR" RAYON CROCHET at neck edge and work a row of sc all around Sacque, having 66 sc on each front, 3 sc in each corner at lower edge and 1 sc in each dc at lower edge, 1 sc in each ch around neck, cut thread. This is right side of work. 2nd Row. Attach yarn at neck edge and working on right side ch 1, sc in same space, skip 2 sc, 5 dc with ch 1 between each dc in next sc (shell), * skip 2 sc, sc in next sc, skip 2 sc, shell in next sc, repeat from * all around, join, cut yarn. 3rd Row. Attach "STAR" RAYON CROCHET in sc at neck edge, and working on right side, sc in same space, ** ch 1, sc in next dc, * ch 1, sc in next dc, repeat from * 3 times, ch 1, sc in next sc, repeat from ** all around, cut thread.

CUFF

CUFF: Attach thread at joining of sleeve, and working on right side, * 1 s c in each of the next 5 dc, decrease 1 st (to decrease: insert hook in next st, pull loop through, insert hook in next st, pull loop through, thread over and pull through all loops at one time), repeat from * all around, join, cut thread. Attach yarn at joining and work a row of shells same as around Sacque, join, cut yarn. Join thread and work 3rd row of edging same as on Sacque. Work other cuff to correspond. Lace ribbon through 1st row of dc's at neck.

Booties

Toe and ankle

With yarn and size E hook, starting at toe, ch 9, sc in 2nd st from hook, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch (8 sc), ch 1 to turn all rows. Next 8 Rows. 1 sc in each sc, then ch 24 at end of last row, join with a sl st in 1st sc at beginning of last row, cut yarn.

FOOT

FOOT: Attach yarn in 12th st at back of bootie and working across ch, ch 1, sc in same space, 1 s c in each of the next 11 sts of ch, 8 sc down side of instep, 2 sc in corner, 8 sc across front of instep, 2 sc in corner, 8 sc up opposite side of instep, 1 s c in each remaining st of ch, do not join this or following rounds. Next Round. Work 1 sc in each sc. Repeat the last round 7 times. Next 3 Rounds. Work in sc decreasing 1 st at center toe and 1 st at center back in each round. Turn work on wrong side and join edges of sole with sc picking up back loop of sts only, cut yarn.

TOP and EDGING

TOP: With right side of work toward you, attach yarn at center back, ch 3 and work 1 dc in each ch, 1 dc in each sc of instep, 1 dc on other side of ch, join, ch 3, turn. Cap finishing

Without cutting yarn, work a row of sc at lower edge of Cap working 2 s c in each turning ch and 1 sc in each sc, ch 1, turn. Next Row. Decrease 10 sts evenly spaced. Work 2 more rows of Sc, cut yarn. With right side of work toward you, attach "STAR" RAYON CROCHET at lower front edge of Cap and work a row of s c all around, cut thread.
