A filet crochet Pent House chair set with increasing and decreasing spaces, blocks, and scalloped ends for the chair back and matching arm pieces.

Pattern instructions
Chair Back
Starting at bottom of chart, make 18 inch chain (19 ch sts to 1 inch).
Dc in 8th ch from hook, * ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. Repeat from * across until there are 75 sps in all. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 8, turn.
Dc in 1st dc (sp increased at beginning of row), ch 2, dc in next dc, * 2 dc in next sp, dc in next dc. Repeat from * across to last sp, then ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch, ch 5, dc in same place as last dc, turn, sl st in 1st 3 ch (sp increased at end of row). Ch 8, do not turn.
Dc in same place as last sl st, ch 2, dc in next dc, 2 dc in sp, dc in next dc (bl made over sp). * Ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc (sp made over bl). Repeat from * across until there are 73 sps in all, then work 1 bl, ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch, ch 5, dc in same place as last dc, turn, sl st in 1st 3 ch (sp increased at both ends of row). Ch 8, do not turn.
Starting with 4th row, follow chart, increasing 1 sp at both ends of each row, until 6th row has been completed. Ch 5 at end of 6th row. Do not turn.
Dc in next dc (no inc), then work 1 bl and follow chart across to end of row. Ch 5, turn.
Continue to follow chart until 11th row has been completed. Do not ch to turn at end of 11th row.
Sl st in next 2 ch and in next dc (1 sp decreased), then ch 5 and continue to follow chart across to 1 sp from end of row. Ch 5, turn (1 sp decreased).
Starting with 13th row, follow chart until 44th row is completed. Ch 5, turn.
1 sp, 1 bl, 2 sps, 8 bls, 4 sps, 2 bls, 4 sps. Turn and work over 1st scallop only as follows:
Sl st across 3 sps and in next dc. Ch 5 and work 3 sps, 3 bls, 10 sps, 1 bl and 2 sps. Turn.
Sl st across next sp and in next dc, ch 5, work 2 sps, 10 bls and 4 sps. Turn.
Sl st across 3 sps and in next dc. Ch 5, work 12 sps and fasten off.
Skip 2 sps of 44th row, attach thread to next dc, ch 5 and work 5 sps, 2 bls, 5 sps, 15 bls, 5 sps, 2 bls and 5 sps. Turn. Continue to follow chart to end. Fasten off. Work other end to correspond. Fasten off.
Work 1 row of sc around, being careful to keep edges squared.
Arm Pieces
Starting at bottom of chart, make a 9 inch chain (19 ch sts to 1 inch).
Dc in 8th ch from hook, * ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch. Repeat from * across until there are 27 sps in all. Cut off remaining chain. Ch 8, turn.
Starting with 2nd row, follow chart for Arm Piece to end, increasing and decreasing as on Chair Back. Fasten off. Finish as for Chair Back.
