Foundation
Beginning work at A, ch 158 for 51 meshes, work 1st dc in 8th ch from hook and continue working back and forth according to diagram. Repeat pattern for length desired and work corner. Then begin second side working into side of meshes. When completed work a row of sc all around both edges.
To decrease
At the beginning of a row, sl st to next mesh; at the end of the row omit the last mesh.
To increase
At the beginning of row, ch 8, dc into first dc; at end of row, ch 2, dtr in same space with last dc.
