Dc in next 3 dc (bl over bl); ch 2, dc in next dc (sp over sp); 5 more sps, dc in next 2 ch, dc in next dc. (Ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc) 3 times; (dc in next 2 ch, dc in next dc) twice; 5 sps, 1 bl. Ch 3, turn.

1 bl, 4 sps, 1 bl, 6 sps, 1 bl, 5 sps, 1 bl. Ch 3, turn.

Starting at 4th row, follow chart to top. Then repeat entire design for desired length.

Ch 36. Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 2 ch (1 bl); ch 2, skip 2 ch, dc in next ch (1 sp); 6 more sps, dc in next 9 ch (3 bls). Ch 8, turn.

Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 4 ch, dc in next dc (2 bls increased). Ch 2, skip 2 dc, dc in next dc (1 sp); make 2 more sps, dc in next 2 ch, dc in next dc (1 bl); 6 sps, 1 bl. Ch 3, turn.

1 bl, 5 sps, 1 bl, 5 sps, ch 2; then make a foundation dc in 3rd st of turning ch—to make a foundation dc, thread over, insert hook in st and draw loop through; thread over and draw through one loop, thus making a ch st; complete as for a dc. Make 2 more foundation dc by inserting hook in ch-1 of previous dc; then make 1 dc in the usual way (1 bl increased). Ch 5, turn.

Dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next ch, dc in next dc (1 bl increased); make 7 sps, 1 bl, 5 sps, 1 bl. Ch 3, turn.

Starting at 5th row, follow chart until 6 rows are made. Ch 3, turn.

1 bl, 2 sps, 1 bl, 3 sps, 1 bl, 7 sps, 1 bl. Ch 1, turn.

Sl st in next 3 dc (1 bl decreased), ch 3 and follow chart to end of row.

Starting at 9th row, follow chart to top. Then repeat entire design for desired length.
