Starting at heel with double strand of yarn and No. 1 hook, ch 6.

Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.

2 sc in 1st sc, sc in each st across, 2 sc in last st. Ch 1, turn.

Sc in each st across (9 sts). Ch 1, turn. Repeat last row until piece measures 3% inches in all. Ch 1, turn.

Skip 1st sc, sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn. Repeat last row until 5 sts remain (Toe). Fasten off.

With single strand of yarn and G hook, ch 7 to measure 1% inches.

Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (6 sts). Ch 1, turn.

Sc in 1st st (tr in next st, sc in next st) twice; sc in last st. Ch 1, turn.

Sc in each st across. Ch 1, turn.

Sc in first 2 sts, (tr in next st, sc in next st) twice. Ch 1, turn.

Same as 3rd row. Repeat the 2nd and 3rd rows once more. Ch 32 (to measure about 6 inches), drop loop from hook, insert hook in first st of last row and, being careful not to twist chain, draw dropped loop through.

(The wrong side of Toe Piece is facing). Ch 1, work sc in each of 32 ch, work 7 sc along side of Toe Piece, 6 sc along opposite side of foundation chain and 7 sc along other side (52 sc). Join with sl st in 1st sc made. Ch 1, turn.

Sc in same place as sl st, * tr in next st, sc in next st. Repeat from * around, ending with tr in last st. Join. Ch 1, turn.

Sc in same place as 1st st, sc in each st around (52 sts). Ch 1, turn.

Tr in same place as sl st, * sc in next st, tr in next st. Repeat from * around, ending with sc in last st. Join. Ch 1, turn.

Same as 3rd rnd. Repeat 2nd to 5th rnds incl until piece measures 1% inches (measuring from chain), ending with either the 3rd or 5th rnd. Fasten off. Sew lower edge of Upper along outer edge of Sole.

With single strand of yarn and G hook, ch 27 (to measure about 5% inches).

Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.

Sc in 2 sc, ch 2, skip 2 sts for buttonhole, * sc in next st, tr in next st. Repeat from * across. Ch 1, turn.

Sc in each st and in each ch across. Fasten off.

Sew button to end of strap opposite buttonhole. Sew strap in place along center top 1% inches of Upper, having button at side of ankle. Make a tiny ribbon bow and sew in center of Toe Piece.

Starting at top of cuff with G hook, ch 33 to measure 6% inches.

Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Join with sl st in 1st sc (32 sts). Ch 1, turn.

Same as 2nd to 5th rnds of Side of Upper. Repeat 2nd to 5th rnds incl until cuff measures 1/2 inches, ending with either the 3rd or 5th rnd. Ch 1, turn.

(Right side facing) Sc in each st around. Do not join rnds. Repeat last rnd until piece measures 2% inches from end of cuff.

Sc in each st around, decreasing 4 sts evenly around—to dec, work off 2 sc as 1 sc.

Sc in each st around. Repeat last 2 rnds alternately until 20 sts remain on the rnd, being careful increases do not fall directly over each other.

Work off 2 sts as 1 st all around (10 sts). Fasten off, leaving a 6-inch length of yarn. Thread a needle with this length and run through remaining sts. Pull tight and darn in end on wrong side. Run 2 yard of ribbon in and out around wrist. Tie in a bow.

With No. 1 hook, ch 2.

8 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Do not join rnds.

2 sc in each st around (16 sts).

* Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (an inc). Repeat from * around (24 sts).

Sc in each sc, increasing as necessary to keep work flat. Repeat last rnd until piece measures 2 inches in diameter. Sl st in next st. Fasten off.

Starting at bottom with G hook, ch 35 to measure 7 inches.

Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across (34 sts). Join with sl st in 1st sc made, thus forming a ring. Ch 1, turn.

Same as 2nd to 5th rnds of Side of Upper. Repeat 2nd to 5th rnds until Side measures 5 inches. Change to No. 1 hook, ch 6, * sc in 3rd ch from hook, skip 1 st, dc in next st, ch 3. Repeat from * around. Join with sl st in 3rd st of starting chain. Fasten off.

Run ribbon through beading and tie in a bow.
