Pattern instructions
Mitten
Taking the back loops of the slip sts, and both loops of the sc, work as follows:
Ch. 30.
Work 1 sc in each of first 5 sts, 1 sl st in each of next 6 sts, 1 sc in each of next 14 sts, 1 sl st in each of last 4 sts (tip of mitten).
Work 1 sl st in each of first 4 sl sts; 1 sc in each of next 14 sc; 1 sl st in each of next 6 sl sts; 1 sc in each of last 5 sc. Ch 1 turn.
1 sc in each of first 5 sc, 1 sl st in each of next 2 sl sts, ch 2, skip 2 sl sts, work 1 sl st in each of next 2 sl sts, 1 sc in each of next 14 sc, 1 sl st in each of last 4 sts. Ch 1 turn.
Work 1 sl st in each of first 4 sl sts, 1 sc in each of next 14 sts, 1 sl st in each of next 6 sts (including the ch of 2), 1 sc in each of last 5 sts. Ch 1 turn.
Repeat above 4 rows until 35 rows in all have been made. Draw all sts tog. and sew side seam.
