Round puff-stitch pillow cover in Claret and Aqua for a 15-inch foam rubber pillow. Originally published in Coats & Clark's O.N.T. #300, Quick Crochet.

Pattern instructions
Pillow
Starting at center with Aqua, ch 2.
7 sc in 2nd ch from hook. Join.
2 sc in each sc around. Join.
Ch 3, (thread over, insert hook in same place as sl st, draw loop through and up to same height as ch-3) 3 times; thread over and draw through all loops on hook, ch 1 (puff st made). Make a puff st in each sc around. Join to top of first puff st.
Sc in back loop of each puff st and in each ch around. Join and break off.
Attach Claret to same place as sl st, ch 3, make a puff st in each sc around. Join.
Sc in same place as sl st, * sc in next ch (1 sc increased), sc in next 2 puff sts. Repeat from * around. Join and break off (14 sc increased).
Attach Aqua to first sc and repeat 5th rnd.
Sc in each sc around, increasing 14 sc evenly around. Join and break off. Repeat last 2 rnds alternately, changing color on every other rnd until 18 rnds have been completed. Do not break off at end of last rnd.
Sc in each sc around, increasing as necessary to keep work flat. Join. Repeat 19th rnd until piece measures same as pillow. At end of last rnd, join and break off.
Make another piece the same way. With wrong sides facing and working through both thicknesses, attach Claret to any sc, sc closely around to within 10 inches of first sc, insert pillow and sc closely around remaining edge. Join and break off.
