Scarf Motif

First Row

Ch. 7, 1 d.c. into the second ch. from the beginning, ch. 3, (*), 1 d.c. into the same, ch. 3 and repeat from (*) three times, ch. 3, catch with sl. st. into the third ch. of ch. 7, thus making a ring of 6 holes.

Second Row

Ch. 4, 5 tr.c. into first hole of ch. 3, 1 tr.c. into d. c. of previous row, and repeat all around, join with sl. st.

Third Row

Ch. 3, 2 tr. c. in first tr. c. of second row, (**) ch. 3, 2 tr.c., 1 d.c. into the same stitch, ch. 5, catch into the second ch. to form picot. Ch. 11, skip 3, catch back into the next chain to form picot, ch. 1, 1 d.c. into the ninth tr.c. of second row, 2 tr. c. into the same. Repeat from (**),

Fourth Row

Ch. 4, 2 d. tr.c. into the first hole of third row, ch. 5, 3 d.tr.c. into same hole, ch. 7, catch with s.c. into the center ch. between the 2 picots, ch. 7, and repeat all around.

First Row

Make a plain ch. the desired length. 1 d.c. into each ch. Turn.

Second Row

Ch. 4, 1 d.c. into the fifth ch., ch. 2, 1 d.c. into the same, ch. 2, skip 4, 1 d.c., ch. 2, 1 d.c. into the same. Continue across.

Third Row

1 s.c. into the first hole of preceding row, ch. 1, 5 tr.c. between the two d.c., ch. 1, 1 s.c. into next hole, ch. 1, and repeat all across.

Cushion Corner

First Row

Make in first row 2 d. c. into one stitch and 1 ch. inbetween.

Second Row

Make 1 d.c. into the hole of first row, ch. 3, 1 tr. c., ch. 3, 1 d. c.

Third Row

3 tr.c. into first hole between the first two spokes, ch. 1, 1 s.c. into the same hole, ch. 1, 3 tr.c. into the center spoke, ch. 1, 1 s.c. into the next hole ch. 1, 3 tr.c. into the same, ch. 1, and continue across.

The petals of the flowers are worked Satin Stitch in Tan Rope and outlined in Green CELESTA. The centers are outlined in Green and filled in with French Knots in Tan.
