Clock Pillow Pattern
Round clock pillow about 12 inches in diameter and 2 inches deep, decorated with sequins, beads, and felt hands. Originally published in Quick to Make Gifts.
Materials
- Milwards Steel Crochet Hook · No. 2/0 (double zero)
Pattern instructions
Side
Starting at center, ch 2.
6 sc in 2nd ch from hook.
2 sc in each sc around.
* Sc in next sc, 2 sc in next sc (an inc). Repeat from * around.
* Sc in next 2 sc, 2 sc in next sc. Repeat from * around.
Sc in each sc, increasing 6 sc evenly spaced and being careful increases do not fall over previous increases. Repeat 5th rnd until piece measures 12 inches in diameter. Break off.
Gusset
Starting at narrow end, ch 13.
Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. Ch 1, turn.
Sc in each sc across. Ch 1, turn. Repeat 2nd row until piece measures 38 inches. Break off.
Finishing
Indicate numerals with sequins and beads. Cut hands and center of felt. Appliqué in position.
With right side of work facing, hold one side of pillow to long edge of gusset and, working through both thicknesses, make sc in each sc around. Join with a sl st in first sc. Turn. Sl st in each sc around. Join and break off. Sew narrow ends of gusset. Insert pillow and join second side of pillow to opposite edge of gusset in same manner.
